Director-General of National Intelligence Andrew Shearer is the latest Australian senior official to participate in the Centre for Strategic and International Studies’ Pacific Policy Pulse video series. The series features senior policymakers and leading experts from across the Pacific discussing what is driving their work.
Mr Shearer, while visiting Washington last week, provided an overview of his visit and discussed several other issues, including China’s maritime activity in the Pacific. You can watch the full video on YouTube(Opens in a new tab/window) or below.
Previous Australian Pacific Policy Pulse participants have included the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Minister for International Development and the Pacific, the Secretary of the Department of Defence, the Chief of Army and the Director-General of the Australian Signals Directorate.
